Fort Denison
Situated in the middle of Sydney Harbour, Fort Denison provides visitors a fascinating link with Sydney's convict past and is an amazing lunch venue with stunning harbour views from the island Cafe. It was even hit by friendly fire during WWII during the Japanese submarine invasion. Its tower is one of only two surviving Martello Towers in the Southern hemisphere. The Fort gun is fired at one o'clock daily.

With great views and a spectacular setting in the Sydney Harbour National Park, Shark Island is a popular picnic destination for Sydneysiders and visitors alike. The island is part of the Sydney Harbour National Park and offers large grassy areas, shady trees, a small beach area and picnic shelters.
