Goat Island is located in Sydney Harbour, west of the Harbour Bridge between McMahons Point and Balmain. Goat Island boasts numerous heritage buildings, outstanding city views and tranquil landscape settings.
For a very short time Goat Island is open to the public for self guided tours. To celebrate we’re offering entry to all three National Park Islands – Fort Denison, Shark Island & Goat Island for just an extra $7 with the 24-hour Hop On Hop Off ticket.
Hop On Hop Off Explorer Cruise + 3 Islands (07-25 Jan 2012)
• The Hop On Hop Off timetable will include Goat Island between 07-25 January 2012
• Whilst Goat Island is open, NPWS are offering a 3 island special valid on the Hop On Hop Off cruise only
• Passengers can visit ALL 3 ISLANDS (Goat, Fort & Shark) for the one landing fee of $7 (normally $7 per island) within the 24 hr ticket

Goat Island Ferry & Self Guided Tours (07-26 Jan 2012)
For those with limited time there is also direct Goat Island Ferry & Self Guided Tour tickets available daily.
• Regular departures daily from Circular Quay and Darling Harbour
• Goat Island open from 9.30am to 4.00pm daily 07 – 26 January 2012
• All bookings through Matilda/Captain Cook Cruises
• Cost: Adults $20, Children (5-14yrs) $17
Goat Island Heritage Tours (Jan-Feb 2012 – selected dates)
Using a free Audio Tour or iPhone APP, take a self-guided audio tour for a rare opportunity to explore the convict, maritime & military history of Goat Island at your own pace. Explore the 1830s convict-built Gunpowder magazine. Hear about convict escapes and the soldiers who guarded the gunpowder store. Visit one of the first Water Police Stations in Sydney & much more.
